Out & About: Joan of Arc Fall Garden walk
We will stroll around the Joan of Arc Garden and explore the history of the Plains through sixteen works of folk art by artist Patrick Lavallée.
Dates: Tuesday, October 7th and Friday, October 17th 2025
Location: Joan of Arc garden
Departing from Jeffery Hale Wellness Centre around 12:00 p.m.
⏰ Returning around 2:30 p.m.
Feel free to bring a snack. In case of rain, the outing will be postponed.

Out & About: Cap-Tourmente – Snow Geese Sightseeing
Join us on this beautiful walk in Cap-Tourmente, an area renowned for the snow geese gathering at the site by the tens of thousands during migration.
Dates: Friday, October 10th 2025
Location: Cap-Tourmente
Pick-up Times (please select one of the three options)
- Jeffery Hale Wellness Centre: 9:30 a.m.
- McGreevy Manor: 9:45 a.m.
- Place D’Youville: 10:00 a.m.
⏰ Returning between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.
The walk will be 1,4km on a wooden path. Please bring a cold lunch with you.
Léa will collect the 4$ admission fee upon entering the bus.
