Auxiliary Nurse<\/p>\n
Person who takes part in the provision of a range of nursing care in conjunction with the care team. He\/she assists in evaluating the client’s state of health and in carrying out the care plan, provides nursing and wellness care, nursing and medical treatments, with the goal of maintaining and restoring health and preventing illness. He\/she is involved in teaching clients and their families.<\/p>\n
Must hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in health, assistance and nursing from a school recognized by the appropriate ministry.<\/p>\n
Must be a member of the Ordre des infirmi\u00e8res et infirmiers auxiliaires du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n
* Candidates will have the opportunity to work with the English-speaking community for the type of geriatric clientele at the Jeffery Hale CHSLD or Saint Brigid’s Home CHSLD. A certain level of English is required, depending on the setting. An English test will be required.<\/p>\n
